It's the first thing she has in the am(4oz). She cannot be in our van without throwing up if she has milk(she is car sick). I have tried and she throws fits and she just has to have her milk.

Throw the cup away together. Explain that shes a big girl and that she doesn't need it anymore. Make it a positive experience...so she will understand it and hopefully accept it better.

She may be lactose intolerant, you can try Lactaid milk. We haveto use it too, it's okay. It may also just be she has motion sickness and have othing to do with the milk. In that case, you're outta luck. All the women in my family have motion sickness since we were babies, and it doesn't matter what you eat or drink, it'll come back up.

On the other hand, you shouldn't give in to her demands. She needs to know who's boss.

maybe try lactose intolerant milk. Tell her she will not get her sippy until she stops throwing the fits. Or just say you are not getting it until you stop. mean it be consitant and do it. then after she calms down give her the sippy but subsituted with the loactose intalerent milk.

I'm sure you've tried everything, but have you tried just taking it away from her and letting her know that she's a big girl and she doesn't need it anymore?? You're going to have to be consistant.. Let her throw her fits.. Don't give in to them.... Hope everything works out!

i would talk to the doctor about this and see what he says...i guess it may depend on how far you have to go in the morning...maybe give her a pacifier until you get where you are going...but i think a child should be able to get that much milk in the morning without throwing it up...i think the best thing is to talk with your doctor about this...

nicely, that is going to likely be more durable now, besides the undeniable fact that it is not okay for his or her teeth to be uncovered to take advantage of or juice all nighttime. in case you imagine that is purely a comfor tthing, attempt putting water contained in the cup and seeing what takes position. or perhaps she may nicely be able to flow to mattress without the convenience of a cup? you may try and observe, yet i might want to really attempt to take the milk remote from her, because it may reason her youthful teeth to rot, because of the milk breaking down into lactic acid, causing caris, or spots of teeth decay. solid success.

go with 2% or low fat milk.. mix in half of low fat with her regular milk... start increasing the low fat stuff vs regular.. then start with skim..vs low fat.. pretty soon, they will think the stuff is nasty and not want it anymore.. then introduce some flavored juice/milk combo.. and gradually increase the volume of juice vs milk to finally cut out all milk.. you can do this in a couple of weeks.

I would consult my pediatric doctor. Ematrol works well for car sickness in children. You can buy it a your local drugstore.
