I have been wearing contacts for a few years. I wear them for all day and night and only take them off when I sleep. Is it possible that the I could have developed astigmatism from wearing contacts too long and changed the shape of my cornea?

I do not think you can get Astigmatism from wearing contacts.

You eyes may be tired or you may need new contacts.

You should contact your eye doctor for a comprehensive exam.

No. That is not likely, according to my eye doctor. I have the same problem and I wear contacts. I asked my doctor if the contacts were causing my eyesight deterioration and he said no and that it is just part of the normal aging process. I now wear a contact lens that is made for people with astigmatism and I have not had any further problems. You should check with your doctor about getting Cooper Toric lenses.

its possible but highly unlikely ifya need contact theres already a problem wit your eye, and a stigmatism is cornea deshaped or your eyes offset (which throws off your depth perception)

the best way to fixit is to stretch your eyes, you look left, then right, then you attempt to move your eyes independently away, then towards eachother

lol
