A little more detail would be nice!!
Yeas you could go abraod. First, you would have to obtain a valid passport if you dont already have one.
Next, you would need to obtain a visa for the country you need to visit. Additionally, you might need to obtain a transit visa for any airport stops that require transit visas. (Many bilateral agreements exists between countries, so occasionally visas/transit visas are not required for certain citizens to get into some countries. For example, a British Citizen wouldn't require a visa to get into say France or Germany, a passoprt would suffice. On the other hand, many African citizens require transit visas for airport stopovers in Europe (Amsterdam, London, Paris, Frankfurt) en route to the US)
Visas to foreign countries can be obtained from their respective embassies and consular officials.

Tell your surname. It holds the key. Immigration authorities outrightly rejects some surnames. I understands that people in Gujarat has stopped using PATEL as surname with a view of migrating in future.
