I have purchased a device in the early 90's, but it seemed that every little noise set it off and it got really annoying so I just took it off. Is there a newer technology device I can attach so we won't have these problems anymore? Thanks

Yea they have came out with some new devices in the 2000's. I can't think of the names of any of them right now but there is always a commercial on tv about some new device trying to rip people off of their money, lol. She could also make a spare and put one in the house, in her purse and a set like outside somewhere in a very safe place, not necessarily in her car. You could also keep a set and she could always come and ask you for one...

That is really funny, not funny ha ha but funny peculiar.
I don't know of any new device but I am sure they have one. I would go to radio shack or best buy or even a hardware store.
If all else fails put the keys on a tire rim like they do at the service stations.
Sorry.... you had to see that one coming. lol
