I drink one of the GNC Whey Protein type after I work out, in my cold milk, and a little creatine powder and some hershey's sizzryup. they taste good, but sometime give me gas and upset my tummy when it's time to poop. Any way to ease this?

Proteins are very strong acids. They upset the stomach.
Milk is a fermentation factor in the intestines, and generates gases.
If you insist to intake extra proteins, you must have your stomach filled up with feculents or with neutral food (fiber based neutral food) with a lot of inactive cellulose to protect the lining from irritation.
Milk is not a recommended many times a day food. Just have a glass of milk morning time.
After working out, your best food would be fresh orange juice and dry fruits (almonds for example, and peanut butter spread).
They are foods with a lot of cellulose protecting the lining of the stomach, and hyper energetic (full of all the proteins you can dream of).

You may be allergic to one of the ingrediants in the product. You could also be lactose intolerant. Try using soy milk or Lactaid. They come in fat free too.
Good Luck

I had the same problem, in H.S. i used to take that stuff but my farts were way too intense! your body can only process a certain amount of protien at once, too much = stomach ache +bad and smelly gas. happens to alot of people
in the weight room they are called the protien farts and they are dangerous.
