Does America actually deserve to be blessed by a supreme being, I don't think it does.

Let me list two thoughts on this. Feel free to respond to them...
1. I'll agree with the aforementioned conclusions, that nobody DESERVES to be blessed by God. God pours it out regardless, however, on those who earnestly seek Him.
2. In my opinion, I believe that America grew to its current prominence solely because God has blessed it. After all, this was initially created as a Christian nation, based upon Christian ideals. In history, only one other nation did that - the Holy Roman Empire, and that nation grew to span nearly the entire known world until it abandoned those ideals, and was nearly overrun by barbarian tribes, ushering in the dark ages.
Sorry for the history lesson, but I think the points remain valid. God blesses us because we seek Him, not because we deserve it. And we have become the nation we are today because He HAS blessed us.

I think that America deserves his blessing look at all we have done for his land we fought so we could have freedom in his land we pray on his land and we pass the word around on his land why shouldnt we be blessed by him ? If i was GOD and saw how well people were taking care of my land and i had all the powers i would definatly bless them and show them that i appreciate what they are doing and take them home when its there time to return to me. {just my opinion}

If there truly is a supreme being, I don't think it would care too much about blessing any one nation over the other. For one who is immortal, who has no beginning and no end, nations tend to rise and fall within the blink of an eye. Why would such a being even care? Just my (rather jaded) opinion on the matter.

We all deserve to be blessed. You reap what you sow. It does not matter what you say it is what you do that is of importance.Power is self policing. You reap what you sow. The U.S. is in for some BIG caca form karma. That is one of the reasons I do not live there. Caca runs down hill and they have been pushing a lot of it on many people for a LONG time.Their time is very near.~5-6 years and you will see. Live impeccably now.Love and forgive.

When 911 happened, God removed his hand of protection from the country. the united states is not the worlds super power it was once propagandized to be. China is the greatest superpower at this moment in history.
The united states does not deserve to be blessed, it lost its blessing years ago! Like sodom and gomorah all wickedness and those that commit offenses will be destroyed.

I think we are headed down a real hard road. Just not seeing and believing it yet. The entire world is on the brink of total chaos, and it will just be an excuse to bring in "the new order." Which so many in office have talked about.

Nobody and nothing on Earth deserves the blessings of God. Even the greatest of human deeds are so odious compared to infinite good that it is inexpressible. The only thing we DESERVE is destruction on that basis... anyone who says different is being misled by Satan.

If God does not bless us then we are cursed.Christian cry out night and day for God to bless America.Thanks to millions of Christians,America is still blessed.
By the blood of Jesus Christ we are made worthy to receive this blessing.Jesus said if we ask anything in his name he would do it.
Christians believe this,so we seek the blessing for America.

I agree.
I want God taken off the money and out of the Pledge.
I think we're giving him a bad name and the Bible says Don't Take The Lord's Name in Vain!
