The book is a piece of fiction. Anyone can write down stuff, put the word "fact" next to it....and not bother to account for it being one. There may be a few things in it true...but the premises are all false.

I don't know. Didn't read the book but I saw the movie tonight and I figured out everything, including the ending, long before the movie showed it, so it couldn't be that awesome!

So maybe it is all false!

I like things that lead me to conculsions that are wrong and pull rugs out from under me after it's all said and done.

That just didn't happen, so it was predicatable.

As a fictional work of fictional fiction, the author has SAID that every word in it is false. If something in there is true, the author sucks even at being fictional.

No, but Dan Brown does crappy research. He got most of the stuff about the Little Mermaid right, but blew some basic stuff as well.

No, there are a lot of historical and geographical facts that are true....if you leave out a hefty part of the religious plot, you can see that Brown has put in a bit of research

Conspiracy theories traditionally contain bits or fragments of truth. But all taken out of context, only for the purpose of supporting the lie. Satan works in mysterious ways too. God said that we would know if a prophet was real by checking what they say.. . .. if any one part of what they say is untrue, then they are untrue as well.

No, a lot of the "facts" are very innacurate. It makes for a better story if the writer can convince the reader that it is actually for real! Lol..

Probably.

But the Spanish Inquisition isn't. That's cold hard reality.

Peace.

no. but neither is everything true. remember, it's a fictional work which uses facts and fiction to tell a story. enjoy the read, but don't take it too seriously.
