I am a 17 year old girl, and I am starting to become worried that I'm asexual (and by that, I mean not having an attraction to men, women, or animals - sexual orientation. I don't mean potato budding or amoebas). I've never had a crush on anybody and I'm tired of the media revolving around relationships, boy/girlfriends, sex, love, etc. I've already had one exfriend voice that to me, since I never wanted to talk about guys with her, but that's not why I'm worried. I don't have any friends, (never have had any), nobody has ever asked me out, no guy has ever displayed any kind of interest in me, and I am 5'10 and I feel manly and not "feminine". Although I am curious about sex itself, because it seems like it would feel good...but I don't get that ooh lala "wow he's hot" crush. Ever. Help?

I am absolutely not attracted to girls at all. I'd have sex with a guy (just for the sex) but I would never do that with a girl.

There is nothing wrong with you. Maybe there is just nobody that you see that catches your eye. Personally, I am not interested in anybody right now either. The last time I was attracted to somebody was 5 years ago. It will happen when the time is right.

You are normal, and I'm guessing that you are very smart and mature and ahead of your peers in some ways, and what you are experiencing is the wisdom of knowing that a "real relationship" is practically impossible while you are still in high school...but it is practice for the rest of your life. I'm not saying that high school relationships don't exist, but only a small percentage of them last a long time, and you have other things to do with that energy right now. Don't feel pressured, in time you will have that attraction to someone, and don't hurry it, because this is the time in your life you should be focusing on yourself. Good luck girl!

You say that you are feeling manly but you want to experience sex I think that you could be a late bloomer or a lesbian. Try having sex with a guy first and make sure that he is good at it. You might just find it very enjoyable.

im 18. baby nothings wrong with u it's normal when you meet a man charming as myself (and you will) he will make you feel special. you will start developing emotions for him and you will love it. but if you feel like this you just keep being around the ordinary males and you will know when you find that stand out guy ok.

You could be a lesbian. How do you feel about girls? Don't worry about it. You haven't yet met your type.
