and does dry skin make you itchy??

I've been using Dove Green tea/melon soap and i've noticed i've been really itchy lately could that be the reason why? because of the soap?

Not only is it that time of year for dry itchy skin but don't believe the hype about dove......it's still SOAP! Soap dries out your skin and so would green tea as it is an antioxitant. Try an aveeno product good for this time of year.

I would assume the Green tea soap would be better. Also ignore the person saying only use facial cleanser. There are facial cleansers out there that are way more damaging than Dove bar soap. If the Green Tea bar is from Kiss My Face then that is a good brand. Neutrogena Naturals is also good if you want a cleanser. Don't get crap like Clean and Clear acne wash, any acne wash for that matter. Those make things worse actually.

I like Camus goat's milk soap. I follow up with coconut milk body cream from Alba. I promise you that Alba will never dry your skin out. They have some nice bath gels.

Maybe your skin doesn't suit that soap. Maybe you're allergic to it or something.

Whatever the reason, I suggest you change your soap.
