Lately i have been seeing a lot of girls with the bottom half of there hair one color(let's say brown) then the top half is all a different color(let's say blonde) then the top half has some highlights/lowlights the same color as the bottom half(brown)...i love the way it looks...what is this called, want to get it done to my hair, want to let my stylist know...please help!!

All you have to tell your stylist is what you said here. She'll know exactly what you mean because you described it very well. Because different hair experts name techniques themselves, it could be callled 1000 different things. It's better to describe it, show a picture or two and let your stylist tell you what he calls it. I found a few pictures just surfing the web and most likely, there will be some up-to-date books at your salon. It's a very popular look so I'm sure you won't have any trouble getting what you want. You just get a partial highlight on the top of your head and color the rest of your hair a golden brown.

I wouldnt get something lighter than dark brown in the journey that your hair seems jet black ever haha :) whether it seems lighter in the solar. it is going to look weird and wonderful in case you have highlights that are extra suitable than 2 hues lighter than your hair shade :) And, i'm getting highlights at my salon, so I cant rather advise a solid kind from adventure :) Sorry! yet i've got heard Loreal selection is a sturdy kind
