I've seen many people ask why God would create gay people if he says it's a sin, and the Christian answer is always that it is a choice. So if science were to ever prove that homosexuals were born that way and that it was not a choice, what would the Christian answer be?

Gratvol: You are correct, nobody makes you write with you left hand, so why do you do it? Because that was how you were born and that is what is natural for you. Now what if the bible said it was a sin to write with your left hand? You could say well then why did god create me this way and they could just as easily say it is your choice to act on it and live in sin. That arguement is just stupid. If they are indeed born that way, why shouldn't they act on it? Should they just live a lie their whole life to give Christians peace of mind?

The error is in your assumption that God does not create people just to damn them. Nowhere in the Bible do I find any reference to life being fair. God IS justice... in other words, do things His way or go to Hell. Literally.

To begin, science "proves" at least a dozen things every day. I'm not saying science is totally wrong, but scientists (especially the type that would force a project proving that homosexuality isn't a choice) may have bent the truth to favor what they want to do with the results. All scientists are guilty of falsifying data at some point to some degree (everyone has bias), so I wouldn't necessarily take their word for it. In addition, the homosexuals themselves participating in the experiment will most likely want to prove that homosexuality is not a choice, so they may also try to alter the outcome without the scientists even knowing.
I'm not saying that science is a bad thing altogether, it can just be a tricky matter to deal with, especially when people are involved.

I doubt science ever proves that because the only way you are born is naked {unless you have disabilities} so if science proves that we were born homosexuals than i would want them to prove that we are born fully dressed. See we are all humans and we all have a choice in life to be something that isnt right or to be something that is just because its a sin in the bible we still have the choice because no matter what we are all sinners and the only one that can change that is GOD.

Eh..it's not proven though, and it won't be. There was a test done with identical twins. Anyway, if one twin were to have blue eyes, 100% of the time the other would, if one had brown hair, 100% of the time the other would. They calculated that if one twin were to be gay, 52% likely the other would as well, but not 100% like everything else. So homosexuality is -NOT- solely genetic, even if there may be genetic influences such as higher progesterone, or estrogen, there are outside factors that contribute. You can not be 100% born gay, you do have a choice.

the bible actully says that man was handed over to those desires based on thier choice so even if a person is born with the desire it would only prove wat has already been said- that god has given man choice and left them to decide to be unnatural.
scienc3e proving that man is born gay only says manb is sinful from birth ---just as the bible says

I'm Christian and I ALWAYS say they are born that way.

But we are all born sinners, so it's a choice as to what sins you will or will not perform.

I like rock and roll, but many believers would say i sin by listening.

The Vedic understanding. What ever ones consciousness is at the time of death they are sure to attain. If one is in a female body and at the time of death they think of a man they become a man in their next life. If they where extremely attached to that previous life they may still be attached to men (being a woman before) But now in a mans body. Its all very scientific. It's all due to the bodily conception of life. We are not these bodies, we are spirit souls covered by illusion. If one wants to have the veils of illusion removed from our consciousness then they should chant the Maha Mantra The Great Mantra For Deliverance. Obviously science would need to be wrong. Come on. These are the people who believe that God stopped the sun in its tracks by shouting at it, they will believe whatever a person like Jerry Fallwell, Ted Haggard or Fred Phelps tells them to.
