i have been on them as well as 2 of my children for 2 years. And my younger daughter is also asthmatic so it has helped us greatly!! The cost for us was negotiated by the physician because i use to work in his office. I would however recommend it because it has helped greatly with my children. So I would tell you that they do help but it takes 2-4 weeks to see an improvement and you should also follow the allergist recommendations for other changes in your home environment

I was on allergy shots for nine years. I stopped five years ago. My allergies are much better. I am no longer housebound during ragweed season. I can barely tell it. For me, shots took two years to start working. If your allergic conjuctivitis is due to pollen, the shots will help.
