can u explain please.
Christian Catholic priests don't marry and Christian Ortodox marry.

Was Jesus Lord or God? If he was Lord then what is the difference between the characteristics of God and Lord?
Although Jesus performed many miracles by the permission of God but if he was God or Son of God why did he walked the earth like all other human beings and ate and did things that human do and was born from a human? The virgin Marry was Jesus's mother and she was a human.

+ Celibate Clergy +

The idea of a celibate clergy came from the Jews, John the Baptist, Jesus, and the Apostle Paul.

The Jews. The Talmud argues that a person whose “soul is bound up with the Torah and is constantly occupied with it” may remain celibate (Maimonides, Laws of Marriage 15.3). For example, Yahweh ordered the prophet Jeremiah not to marry (Jeremiah 16:1-4). Moreover, the Essenes was a group that was active in Jesus’ time that practiced celibacy and thought by most scholars to be the authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

WWJD? What would Jesus do? Jesus did not marry.

John the Baptist and Jesus are both believed to have been celibate for their entire lives. Some scholars believe that the example of the Essenes influenced either or both Jesus and John the Baptist in their celibacy.

The Apostle Paul is explicit about his celibacy (see 1 Cor. 7). There is also evidence in the gospel of Matthew for the practice of celibacy among at least some early Christians, in the famous passage about becoming “eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 19:12).

The concept took many twists and turns over the years and will probably take a few more before Christ returns in glory.

+ Lord or God? +

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew name YHWH, by which God revealed himself to Moses, is rendered in the Greek translation as Kyrios, "Lord."

From then on, "Lord" becomes the more usual name by which to indicate the divinity of Israel's God.

The New Testament uses this full sense of the title "Lord" both for the Father and—what is new—for Jesus, who is thereby recognized as God Himself.

Therefore we can join the Apostle Thomas in proclaiming, "My Lord and my God!" (John 20:28)

God is SPIRIT. Lord means owner. Just like land lord , owner of the house. Jesus bought us with His blood to take us from the enemy. (They) don't marry because the organized religion says they can't. It is their rule (man made rule). I can't believe all the many people that follow man and not God. Jesus lived here and set examples for us to follow. He had to be born a human because it would take blood for the sacrifice for our sins. God is Spirit so He did not have any blood. Mary is the mother but our blood type does not come from our mother. He was concieved from the Holy Ghost.

Jesus is the God of this earth and was Jehovah in the Old Testament, and Christ in the New Testament. His father is Heavenly Father - another God. They work so closely together than Christ has referred to them as being "one" (which is misinterpreted and taken literally by many people who believe in the Trinity theory). He prayed that he and his apostles would also be "one", but for some reason, nobody considers that literally. Hmmm...

Christ was born of woman so he could obtain a body. He was also half God so he would have the power to perform his mission with that body (suffer for our sins, have power to rise after his death). A mere man would not have been able to do what he did.
Also, Christ had to partake of the human experience so he can understand what we go through, and be able to better help us. He suffered all our sorrows and our pains, so is the only one qualified to help us, which is what makes him so wonderful.

As for why priests do not marry, that is another example of false doctrine and misinterpretation of scripture. Christ NEVER said not to marry. He taught marriage and fidelity, and the Bible itself gives evidence that he was probably married.

Catholics claim their basis in the apostle Peter, claiming that he was the first Pope. And yet Peter was married.
(Matthew 8:14) And Jesus, on coming into Peter’s house, saw his mother-in-law lying down and sick with fever.

You have to be married to HAVE a mother in law.

When most religions took Almighty God's name out of the Bible, it caused great confusion. They then had to distinguish between God and Jesus. They called God, LORD, and called Jesus, Lord
When in fact they should have retained God's proper name, Jehovah.
(Exodus 6:3) And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them.

The name Jehovah is the closest English language word translating the Hebrew YHWH, otherwise known as the tetragrammaton [ four letters]
In the New world Translation, the name appears over 7,000 times. In other translations, it has mistakenly been replaced with LORD. Not a name, but a title.

Well, I was raised Lutheran. But what was explained to me was that Catholic Priests were not allowed to marry because it would hinder their devotion to their teachings. It stemmed from centuries ago when life was hard and it took a 16 hour day to put wnough food on the table to feed the large families. That would leave little time for the church. But I am no expert, maybe a Catholic has a better answer.

Jesus is the son of GOD. we call Him Lord. The Trinity is like this. GOD separate- Jesus separate- Holy Ghost separate-Joined together as one. It is like when a man and woman marry, they are no longer two but one.Jesus had to walk the Earth and suffer for our ransom, for our sins.He had to play out His destiny. He gave a great sacrifice for us.
As far as Catholic priests and not marrying, I don't believe in that. GOD made men and women the way they are to be together. You do not have to be single to worship GOD

priest do not marry because they feel they are in essence married to the church, they take their vows to be married to God. Jesus is both Lord and God. Jesus walked the earth to be our sacrifice that we may have a bridge to God. He came to make the way. because we are human, Jesus had to become human to be atoned for our sins. no more animal sacrifices for sin that worked only momentarily. Jesus came to also fulfill ot prophecy.

Jesus was a man. The corruption of the gospel led one faction to believe that men were holier than women and the coupling between a man and a woman is inherently evil. Jesus was a JEW!!! In that day and age? Of course he was married. Christianity didn't truly crop up until after he died.

Jesus is God and people called Him Lord (Apostle Thomas called him "My Lord and my God!"). Jesus is both God and Son of God (in the Gospel of John He is called the Word of God used by God to create everything).
About why he walked the earth like a common man, here's an analogy 4 u:

The Farmer and the Geese

There was once a man who didn't believe in God and he didn't hesitate to let others know how he felt about religion and religious holidays.

His wife, however, did believe and she raised their children to also have faith in God and Jesus, despite his disparaging comments.

One snowy evening, his wife was taking their children to service in the farm community in which they lived. They were to talk about Jesus' birth. She asked him to come along but he refused. "That story is nonsense!" he said, "Why would God lower Himself to come to Earth as a man? That's ridiculous!"

So she and the children left and he stayed home. A while later, the wind grew stronger and the snow turned into a blizzard. As the man looked out the window, all he saw was a blinding snowstorm. He sat down to relax before the fire for the evening. Then he heard a loud thump. Something had hit the window. He looked out but couldn't see more than a few feet.

When the snow let up a little, he ventured outside to see what could have been beating on his window. In the field near his house, he saw a flock of wild geese. Apparently they had been flying south for the winter when they got caught in the snowstorm and couldn't go on. They were lost and stranded on his farm, with no food or shelter. They just flapped their wings and flew around the field in low circles, blindly and aimlessly. A couple of them had flown into his window.

The man felt sorry for the geese and wanted to help them. The barn would be a great place for them to stay, he thought. It's safe and warm. Surely they could spend the night and wait out the storm.

So he walked over to the barn and opened the doors wide, then watched and waited, hoping they would notice the open barn and go inside. But the geese just fluttered around aimlessly and didn't seem to notice the barn or realize what it could mean for them. The man tried to get their attention but that just seemed to scare them and they moved further away.

He went into the house, came with some bread, broke it up and made a bread crumb trail leading to the barn. They still didn't catch on.

Now he was getting frustrated. He got behind them and tried to shoo them toward the barn but they only got more scared and scattered in every direction except toward the barn. Nothing he did could get them to go into the barn where they would be safe and warm.

"Why don't they follow me?!" he exclaimed, "Can't they see this is the only place where they can survive the storm?"

He thought for a moment and realized that they just wouldn't follow a human. "If only I were a goose, then I could save them." he said out loud.

Then he had an idea. He went into the barn, got one of his own geese and carried it in his arms as he circled around behind the flock of wild geese. He then released it. His goose flew through the flock and straight into the barn ........... and, one-by-one, the other geese followed it to safety.

He stood silently for a moment as the words he had spoken a few minutes earlier replayed in his mind: If only I were a goose, then I could save them.

Then he thought about what he had said to his wife earlier: Why would God want to be like us? That's ridiculous!

Suddenly it all made sense. That is what God had done. We were like the geese -- blind, lost and perishing. God had His Son become like us so He could show us the way and save us.

As the wind and blinding snow died down, his soul became quiet and pondered this wonderful thought. Suddenly he understood why Christ had come. Years of doubt and disbelief vanished with the passing storm. He fell to his knees in the snow and prayed his first prayer:

And THAT'S why He was born man and not descended from Heaven in divine form.

This is a myth - the Catholic Church already has married priests. We had one until very recently, when he was arrested and jailed for beng a wife-beating, child-abusing drunk.
