A microwave can't do EVERYTHING ! It is primarily used to reheat, cook, steam, pop popcorn, boil water etc. George Foreman has a grill, there are grilling pans, outdoor and indoor grills, and they do what they say--they GRILL !! You have discovered what happens when you try to grill in the micro. It just doesn't work. Invest in a stovetop grill pan --$20.00, and go to town!

The process is normally given in your manual. You need to marinate the pieces well. Then preheat the oven before putting the pieces. Depending on the set temp and time, you need to rotate the pieces after a certain time. Read the manual well. After some hit anfd trial you should be able to get the quality you get in hotel. learning to cook in microwave is alway a hit and trial. Keep a note of your experiments.
