Why do the men break glasses when they just get married?
And what does 'mazel tov' mean? (sorry if the spelling isn't right)

=)

the glass part is to remember the destruction of the second temple. To show even in the happiest of moments we still mourn the loss of our Temple and unity.

as for mazel tov it basically means congratulations

mazel tov means congratulations.

The glass breaking has a lot of interpretations but one is that the couple first drink out of the glass and then it is broken so that they are the only two who would ever drink from it.

I dunno - could be right.
