Humans can create both Heaven and Hell. A lot of fiction has come true. So, the two things exist now in people's imagination and sometimes they like to experiment with them. Remember what happens in wars and remember when peace prevails.

Yes there is. You say don't bring Christ into it or the Bible well where else can you find any truthful documentation about it?It seems to me you believe there is as well but do not want to make any kind of commitment probably for a multitude of reasons. Can I make one suggestion that might cement the question for you, take a few moments and read in the Bible the book of John in the New Testament . See if this sheds some light on your situation, it only costs you a little of your time. You will not be disappointed.

It is found in the Bible and it is said to be or believed to be the place where God resides or exists or where God will take man to or where man will go.
Understand the Bible says the Earth will become a horrible place to live. There will be rivers and lakes of fire (molten lava from vocalnos or Atomic bombs, who knows), the sky will be black (it's already brown from car smoke -- I don't drive, haven't owned a car in 35 years)
What would heaven be, any place UNLIKE that one!
Given a choice of staying on a parched Earth with rives and lakes of volcanic ash and black skies or a nice, cool, more tempid place where you would rather be?
The choice is yours!

Once, long ago, primitive man raised his eyes to the firmament and wondered. During the day, a dome of blue, sometimes filled with clouds which brought rain, sometimes fire, and During the night, on clear nights, revealing a velvet cloak studded with diamonds.
(They did not have TV back then, nor radio, but entertained one another with stories as to how the world around them came about and why the world is the way it is)
Of course, primitive man had no idea what velvet was, nor diamonds, yet the impression was as apt.

It doesn't make sense for someone to say "only if you believe in it". Truth is not relative. If there is a heaven, there IS a heaven; if there's not, obviously there's not. You can't have heaven for some and not others. And if there IS a heaven, there is only one type of heaven. Regardless of what you believe, the truth is not open to interpretation. But I don't think Heaven exists.

There is a heaven and those who do not or will not believe in it will find out for themselves soon enough. Earth was not provided for man, and man for the earth, just so he can become nothing but dust after a few years. Life is continuous and everlasting and has purpose.

The Vedic Knowledge says that there are three major planetary systems in the material world. Earth,Heaven (not to be mistaken for the eternal Heaven)and Hell (no one goes there eternally. Hell is a place where souls go to burn off ther very bad Karma(reactions to sinful activity) Heaven is a place where souls go to get their very good karma. and Earth is where we can get a combination of good and bad Karma. Its all very scientific. One has to understand Karma and reincarnation to get the full picture. For detailed information go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com Get the book How the Universe was created and Our Purpose in it.. Vedic understanding and universal truths.
