My grandson was abused by his father, to make a long story short I now have his custodety.

His mother HATES his guts. She will start a fight with him every time theyr togehter. Reccently he tried to make up with her, and today when we were going out to eat, he said something, she slapped him in the face and punched him in the eye, hard!

I think she's emotionally abusive twoards her daughter as well; how can I get cutsdotey of both children so I can get her out of my life?

(I have had one incidence where the cops were called because my husband assulted my grandchild (16). He is in jail.)

document everything. if the kids come to your house with bruises. take them to the hospital, and take pictures. get your county's children services involved. They have a lot of power and can remove the child immediatly. get an attorney.
my wife and i are going throght the same thing with our grandchildren, my wife's 24 year old daughter is borderline retarded, and diagnosed shizophrenic and bipolar. the four year old grandaughter was taken from her right after she was born, it was easier since there was no father involved. now there us a 9 month old boy we are battling in the courts over now.
good luck

well just because you have costudy of both kids dont mean that she will be out of your life she will always be in your life as long as you have the kids. But to get custody you need to call up the courts in your grandaughters town and ask about grandparents custody or something like that and they will set you up just remember you have to do it in there town cause thats where they live. Hope this Helps

File a case on court to prove that the father is abusive so that custody of the children will be transferred to you.

Engage a lawyer and fight the case in court. The money spend and the effort you put in are worth it.

One incident? You had another one today! Why didn't you call the police today? It sounds like the whole clan is disfunctional to me! I think you should all investigate obtaining counseling immediately!
