What are the main ingrediants that make an apple turn brown when exposed to oxygen? I am doing a science project that requires this information, so if you have anything to me, please

i think it turs brown because something dies or something. apples are made of phospholipids, waxes, water, sucrose, glucose, some kind of pigment, proteins(in the nuclei DNA)

Uh, don't know what makes an apple turn brown, but I do know that botanically they belong to the same family as the rose! :) cool huh?
