God created mankind for relationship with Him. Yet in order to gain genuine relationship with us He had to allow mankind free will to decide for ourselves, otherwise we would be reduced to unconscious automotons mindlessly doing his every bidding yet with no desire to do so, and no choice.
For God to genuinely be our Father we had to genuinely be children with minds of our own. And like any other Parent He had to risk our rejection to achieve our Love.

God's purpose of making this world is for us to have a relationship with him.
God created the stars because they reflect his beauty and grace (metaphorically, not physically).
He also created the stars so we humans could be amazed at how enormous the universe is, how tiny even our planet is, and then realize that God still loves us, out of everything he made, and He chose us, and He cares about us, and He always answers when we call on Him.
God created different types of people so He could have an individual and unique relationship with each one, and to show that anyone, no matter who you are, can recieve forgiveness through Him.
I don't know why God makes some people die earlier than others. Perhaps it's just their time to go. But sometimes it has a deeper influence on those around them, for instance friends who watched them live by Jesus, even to the death. But no matter what the reason, God always has a reason. He works in ways we cannot see or understand sometimes, we just have to believe in Him.
And, in God, there's no such thing as real "karma". There is no state of equality that your life returns to at some point. God controls your entire life, and everything that happens in it. He can make it whatever He wants to. And true judgement won't come until the day you die.

Very good questions. We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel to the Supreme Soul. We where made to have loving relationships with God together. We are not these bodies. We are in the land of illusion (Maya). 1/4Th of the souls only come to the material world. God gave us free will but in the spiritual world there is only love and cooperation. So us less intelligent wanted to check out this place, where everyone is trying to be God. But it never works out. A child is born blind or sick or in a rich or poor family due to Karma.
