an hour before the event you can eat something light but full of energy like oats or a small plate of cereal or banana or a snack bar. and also drink lots of water before hand don't want to get dehydrated. wear comfortable running shoes, and light clothing.

i'm a pass united states of america runner for my highschool. you're able to consume something form of small approximately an hour in the previous you run, consistent with threat something like a bagel or some oatmeal. and you're able to no longer be eating something yet water a minimum of 24 hours in the previous the race, so no milk for breakfast the day of a race. i'm hoping you do nicely.

well lots of runners carb load the night before..pasta, high quality, complex carbohydrates....drink plenty of water the day before too...be nice and hydrated...as to what to wear..whatever is most comfortable...shorts, tee..good socks and your favorite running shoes..good luck and have fun!
