Alcohol is a matter of hours but some other drugs are detactable for weeks.
Here's a plan: don't use these things if you need to pass a test.

depends on a lot of stuff, what the toxin is, how much you consumed, how well you metabolize.
if its alcohol and you weren't sent to the hospital that night chances are less than 24 hours as long as you're not on any kind of liver inhibiting medication (and with the assumption that you're in fairly good shape).
if its marijuana it'll be anywhere from a week to a month and a half depending again on how much the last time you smoked was, medication you're on, how well you metabolize and what your body fat percentage is.
you can google the meds you're on and see if they have any effect on your liver, i know for fact some acne medications do.
if its any other drugs it'll depend on whether or not its fat sauluable, like thc in marijuana. those tend to linger for the longest. drinking tons of water and doing a lot of cardio will help clean your system out faster. (when you do cardio try to do it at night or early in the morning so you dont sweat out all the water you just drank). you can also get detox drinks at local drugstores, like save-on or maybe target- but those are aren't foolproof. if the ua day comes and you're still not 100% confident, don't give them the first piss of the day, and pray. (ps, if you drink too much water that day your urin will be too clear for them to accept, you can take vitamins to artificially make it more yellow but those can be tested for too. they may also ask you to return another day... if you're lucky haha)

If you drank just a little, it would take 24 to 48 hours, depending on your size. The bigger you are, the faster the alcohol will leave your body.
Drink lots of coffee or cola. The caffiene will make you pee often and rush the alcohol out of your body.
If you have a tiny frame and drank so much as to pass out, it could take as long as 5 days. It just depends on your body size and weight.
Good Luck.

Glad to see I am not alone!
It is Sober November for me.
I read somewhere, I will look for the site and if I find it send it to you, It said about a month to clean your system. However, I do not think it would take that long to pass a test. Good luck. I'll look for that article.

Please stop drinking.
This is the only sure way.
Sooner or later you'll get an unannounced visit and off you'll go. PLEASE do your best to follow through - not just cheat. It'll be better in the long run.
