It is the usurpation of the Winter Solstice celebrations of several other religions to celebrate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. According to history, the tax levy that Joseph was returning to Bethlehem to pay would have been in the spring of the year, our April.

I have always like a quiet and introspective Christmas and rejected all the commercialism.

Christmas is celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is also a time where I like to give gifts, not so much as receive them.

It's a time to reflect on the best gift ever given.
God sent a piece of Himself into the world so that we could experience just how much He loves us and the lengths He's willing to go in order to save us.
When I consider this great love, I want to show
my family and friends how much I love them. I want to be a better person to the world.

It means nothing to me. Christmas is a pagan holiday that no true Christian has anything to do with.
