Hey Now...

This is easy...

1990 Margaux from Chateau Margaux...

It recieved an 99 rating from Wine Spectator...
A 98 rating from The International Wine Celler...

I bought 6 bottles in 1995 and started drinking them in 2005,
each bottle I open gets better and better!!!

Wine Notes:
Full ruby-red. Wonderfully perfumed nose combines red currant, plum, mocha, minerals and rose petal. Plush, fat and rich, with great sweetness and class. This has utterly compelling mouthfilling richness. Finishes smooth and endless, with great breadth. This wine showed fabulous potential from barrel...

FYI..
On Oct 23rd a 12 bottle case, from the Wine Commune,
sold for $7500.00

Smiles

Being from SA I am fortunate enough to have tasted a number of great wines. There is a joint venture between Mike Ratcliff and Mr. Broadbent with a farm here called Vilafonte. As far as I know it is available in small quantities around the world. You should look for that. Mindblowing!! Or Warwick wines.

The best wine I ever tasted was Dandilion wine and Ice Wine....they are both very sweet. The Ice Wine is very very expensive but worth every bit.

An Amarone from Italy. Unfortunately I can't remember the label, but it was big, and full and jammy. They dry the grapes out almost like raisins and it creates this super rich beautiful red wine. YUM!
