Eric's best move win, lose or draw is to retire. I'm hoping that this weekend he can pull one more cat out of his hat, that he can discipline himself enough not to brawl with Manny and out box and out think Manny as he did in his first fight. I'm hoping that him going to Velocity Performance Training Center in L.A four months ago to start cutting weight properly pays off.

I'm hoping that the beatings his body took from his three brutal bouts with Barrera don't turn him into an old fighter right before a very eyes this Saturday. I'm hoping that he does the right thing and retires with dignity and honor and goes out on his feet with a win over Manny and if he does lose, have enough sense to know it's time to go.

I think it depends on how he loses. If he really looks worn out and takes a beating from Pacquiao, then he should retire. But if the fight is very competitve and very close and he loses say, a split decision but he looks good in doing so, he could fight again. I doubt if it would be against Mayweather because Floyd is a welterweight who hasn't fought at 135 in a while. Maybe Morrales can move up to 135 and challenge Joel Casamayor or Arcelino Freitas ( who i heard just ended a three-week retirement).

I think he needs to retire regardless, he has nothing left to prove if he wins and nothing left to gain by sticking around if he loses. He has been in wars, his body has been put through hell and I don't think moving up to 135 helps him out any. There aren't any "great" fights for him at that weight, and Floyd isn't moving down to 135 to fight him or anybody else. He would have to go up to 140 or 147 to get to the "super" fights and I don't think that at his age, and his body's condition that he can be effective 2 or 3 weight classes above where he is now. Those guys are too big and strong.

He will win, but he said he will retire young, he has invested his money in different business in Tijuana, so he does not need the money, I say he will have 2 o 3 more fights max.

It depends on how much beating he gets come Saturday. Best option is to retire. He's got nothing else to prove. He's a sure lock for the hall of fame and he's been to too many wars. Win or lose, his legacy is secured.
