Extremely rude. If I'd have pulled that on my fiance on our first day I know for sure that there wouldn't have been a second date. And if I ever did that today, lets just say it wouldn't be pretty. Ha! Just goshing a bit there but it is very disrespectful to both women and sounds like this fella could use some lessons in etiquette.

Next time ask him what he's looking at.
I have similar experience, but it was with a girl I went out with for about 4 months. One time I took her to this upscale restaturant. She stare at this older couple (in their 40's) for a while. Finally I ask her what's wrong, she start to have hard time to not laugh. Finally she told me that the woman over there is actually a man. We end up eat as fast as possible and leave because we were laughing so much and loudly.
On other hand if he was look at some girl because he find them attractive, it will embarasse him if you put him on spot. I would suggest you to tell him you're worthless to him and walk out leave him there. That will make him look really bad to the girl he was staring at.

Yeah, that's kind of rude...no matter why he's looking at her. But, you just have to judge how he is looking at her. Is she really good looking, is she not-so-good looking, does she have something on her face, etc. It could be that he is just a shy person in some way, and it makes him more comfortable to not look you in the face. A lot of people "look away" when they are talking to you. It could be a million different things. Was he staring so hard that he was ignoring your conversation? How was his overall attitude throughout the night? I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet, but I would definitely keep my eyes and ears open for other similar behavior.

This extremely rude. I wouldn't give him a second thought. Even if he is nervous this is no reason to contiunue looking at the other woman. It's his loss and I wouldn't think twice about him.
Karma will come back to get him and he will be treated the same if not worse and he will deserve everything he gets.
Good luck with your next date! He might be the one!

It tends to be just an object to stare at with no attention, other then the fact it helps the nerves. Also, looking in the eyes, is very intimate , can make you extremely uncomfortable-even when there is nothing to hide. Won't know if he's a player till you get to know him better!

That's when you as the woman, go over to the other table, and rip off her clothes, then throw her into a tub of jello and wrestle with each other.

Yes,it's very rude and shows a lack of courtesy and respect towards your date AND shows your immaturity. That's when you get up to go to the powder room and stiff that guy with the check.
