take oral bendadryl (be advised that it will make you sleepy). take 1-2 of the 25mg tablets every 6 hours but no more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
you can also apply a baking soda and water paste to the sting area to help relieve the itching.
for pain take ibuprofen (it will help reduce the swelling too). take 200-400mg ever 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
things to watch for that require an IMMEDIATE trip to the e.r are:
-the sting area begins to swell more or has increased redness
-you begin to have severe itching (especially in your throat and neck)
-you are having trouble breathing (feels like your throat is closing)
-you begin to have dizziness, blurry vision,or feel like you are going to pass out
these are all signs of anaphylatic shock and idicates a severe allergy to the beesting. you need to get to a hospital right away for this.

This might sound stupid but this is what my grandma had me do when i was younger and got stung. She had me chew up some celery but not swollow it . You take what you chewed up and place the paste on the bee sting and it will stop hurting . also you can use a slice of a cold onion to stop the swelling . You can also make a paste using asprin and put it on the sting

take an over the counter antihistamine, make a paste of baking soda and water and pack it on the sting- when the paste starts to dry out, then wash it off with cool water. It should stop hurting soon.
if you have any problems with:
blurred vision
slurring of speech
problems breathing
extreme sleepiness
feeling like your tongue is swelling or
problems with "clear" thinking
then go to a doc right away as you could be allergic

Try some over the counter Benadryl (diphenhydramine hydrochloride), an ice pack, and some over the counter "After Bite". If you are having a severe allergic reaction, call 911. EMS can fix the problem. If you have a more minor reaction that does not go away within about 24 hours, contact your doctor and he can prescribe some corticosteriods.

Old fashion remidy. It sounds like the stinger is still in there. Go out side and make some mud and put it on the sting(thick) leave it untill it dries.Wask off. If it still burns (I dont know if they still sell it)apply black sav.It works every time.
