Last year i started having stomach pains, so I went to the doctor and I had all kind of tests done and they didnt find anyting. Finally he send me to a specialists, but I never went cause I just got tired of doctors. Now a year later the pains are back. The pain can be so painful that it wakes me up at night and also, can last through out the whole day. One thing that's odd about this is that when I lay on my side it doesnt hurt as much.
(Im a virgin, no drugs, nothing like that, I eat the way I should be eating.)

Gall stones?? do they feel more at the top of your stomach than the bottom? Go on the Internet to www.webmd.com and type in gall stones and see if your symptoms match. I had them and opted not to have surgery. I changed my diet, started exercising and drinking lots of water. This worked for me. Stress was also a huge factor in flare ups. I had a friend and sister who had the surgery. They have had more digestive types of problems since the surgery. Just a little extra info in case they are gall stones. Very painful, comes and goes. centered around the stomach and ribs, upper back., sometimes 10-15 mns sometimes last for hours....good luck and don't be afraid to see a doctor if there is no improvement

One thing I would check is if you have IBS or Crohn's. If you are 18-25 or 35-45 it could be Crohn's. I was dx with it a couple years ago...lots of abdominal pain, not as bad when laying on my side. Severe pain...it affected my back area because the swelling sqeezed off my ureters blocking a kidney. I would try to find a gastroenterologist...get an upper GI, ultrasound, CT scan and colonoscopy. good luck

Try another doctor. That is the only way you are going to find out for sure.

Try an internist this time
