Love and Sex are totally different entity.
Love is something which will last forever. Its a feeling. Related to heart. A dedicated, pleasant experience. There will be sometimes in Love relationship you will get lot of pain. But still you will hang on, because you love.
Sex is an action. Its a pleasure, and for Fun. Its what you think. Related to mind. A human body is programmed to have SEX. The purpose of a Man & Woman, and the whole human generation depends on this ecstatic, pleasure activity between two people.
When you are denied of sex, you will not feel that bad. You can masturbate and sleep well.According to me, the most sexiest organ in a human body is MIND. But when you are denied of love, you don't get sleep.
So Love is more powerful, and precious than SEX. You might get a chance to have intercourse with many, but if you didn't gain even a single person to truly love you, any case, then there is no point in Living.

Most love kinds do not require sex, and I don't need to give examples of that, you know that already....but the typical love you are talking about does require sex, but that too post-marital. Because marriage is a connection that strengthens the bond of love and sex a course of nature through which every mammal goes through having in consideration of human ethics as opposed to other beings.

If you love someone without being sexually attracted to them, then it's more of a sibling or friend type love.
But if you love them in a romantic way, then hopefully you want to sleep with them!
A psychology professor once defined love as a two-part deal:
1. You must be attracted to the person (physically and personality-wise)
2. You must want to care for the person and let them care for you as well.
Also, some people can have sex without loving the person they have sex with. Anything's possible, I guess.

It is possible to feel love for someone without sex. But I think also that it would be difficult to be romantically involved with someone and not expect eventually that the relationship would be physical.

It is possible to love without touch. Love is action (as in doing deeds; kind words, acts of caring, or general support), not always physical action.
Sex is the outworking of lust, which should be the outworking of love, but this is not always the case.

You shouldnt have sex unless you are in love. If you are not in love there are other ways besides sex to work through your lust.
p.s. I am waiting for marriage...

SOMETIMES EVEN SEX NEEDS LOVE BUT MOSTLY LOVE DOESN'T NEED SEX
LOVE REFERS TO AN INVISIBLE FEELING IN MIND WHICH MAKES U MAD AFTER SOMEONE BUT SEX DOESNOT INVOLVE THESE FEELINGS
