Visas are mainly for foreign individuals to enter and in some cases stay in another country. So perhaps you meant what Visa do you need to bring her in, or what Visa do you need to live in Ireland.

I don't know Ireland's laws but click on the below link for what you need to do to bring her here.....

A Visa is granted by a country to a citizen of another country to visit and/or travel in the country granting the Visa, not for permission to marry a citizen of the country granting the Visa.

My daughter was granted entry into England to visit her boyfriend, who she planned on marrying, only after she applied to the British Embassy in Los Angeles, her boyfriend sent affidavits stating he would be responsible for her housing and care while she was in England, and sending copies of his birth certificate, proof of British citizenship, and proof that he was gainfully employed in England.

European countries do not just let you "cross the border".

You can file an CR-1 (1-30), or K1-Fiance application with the INS who forward it to the Visa center, and on ward to her local Consulate where you attend you appointment, and they decide whether she can enter or not.

I think its usually the other way round. Get married and then you can both get visas for each others countries.

As with any woman, it had better be one with a very large cash limit.
