You probably don't HAVE to, but it is probably advisable so your teeth don't move again when/if they decide to come in.

I didnt, but it depends on your age and if your wisdom teeth have come in already or are about to come in. I had braces as a young teen and my wisdom teeth came out when i was 22. so there was no correlation between the two.

i don't think so, i researched. Last Nov. 2nd i had my 2 top wisdom teeth removed jz because they're impacted and im going to have my braces soon, and my dentist told me those impacted wisdom teeth will worsen cause then il have hard time cleaning them.
Twas a scary thought having 2 teeth removed at the same time, but after all its like nothing the oral surgeon did a great job extracting them 1st one lasted only like 5secs, and the second one like 15secs. Waaaaaaa.... i thought it'l be long thanks God im done! And we humans dont really need those wisdom teeth, some people i knew have them taken out even though they're not impacted...
(my own thinking, ya right! thats jz extra teeth to reach all the way in the back to clean)
:)

I had my braces off before my wisdom teeth came in, but they wanted to remove them then because they might have messed up the new alignment.

It depends on your mouth. In order to move your teeth with braces, you need some space for them to go. If you don't have enough room in your mouth, you might have to have some teet pulled.

Im sure ur orthodontist is doing it for a good reason....U probably dont have enough room in your mouth and too many teeth...its better that having ur canine teeth removed and ur face look sunken in later in life!Good luck!
