My dog had a small scratch on her elbows. There were dogs fighting over her food before she had it and perhaps one of them may have accidentally injured her. I believe it bled for a while because I saw blood on her fur. I applied betadine and after 3 days it seemed to be ok. I guess my concern is, will there be a possibility that she will get an infection?

Well think about this, that at the very finest kennels,
the average miss match of the dogs at the walkers turn
around the park is quite complex. Most of the smaller dogs
get grabbed some. This is the behavior they are being taught
about, so they litterly do it litely while with the trainers, to
communicate, "oh is this what your teaching in class today?"
This is common throughout most dogs lives. A cut is defined
if it continues to be available to infection, clean it as often
as you think necessary. Wrap it with regular bandaids if
you like because it is in situations with mud or anything.
Keep your dog in a polite team of friends.

There is the possibility but it sounds like you did the right thing. If it is still open put some abx on it. If it were a large open wound you would need to be more concerned, but a sm scratch is less likely to get infected.

I doubt she'll get an infection if the area is kept clean. If you see fluid coming out of the wound that is not blood, and smells bad, it's probably infected. Blood is actually a good sign/ Anyway, I'm sure your doggie will be fine.

No you would have noticed an infection within 72 hours of the cut and usually much quicker then that. If it is not red swollen or oozing any kind of milky to yellowish fluid she is fine. Just keep an eye on it and keep it clean.

she should be ok i would watch it and make sure it doesnt show any redness to it or the any kind of dranage like pus up or anything if you see any of that then you need to get her to the vet for some meds. I hope this helps and good luck

Well, if three days have passed and it seems okay i dont think that it will get infected if it is well cared for.
