My counselor thinks i have ADD(Attention Deficit Disorder) and apparently because i am taking strattera i can't join the Army. But is the policy the same for the marine corp or the navy or the airforce??? I don't even think i have ADD and I think it is a disgrace that people with ADD can't enlist in the army. If women can join the army why the hell can't a kid who supposedly has ADD join the army??? At least I can fight and not be stuck serving breakfast and doing laundry like all the women who enlist.....
Send me over to Iraq i don't give a **** if I die.

wow coming from a female soldier that dose no serve breakfast or do laundry. I drive and fire big guns. If you really have an attitude like that you should not be able to enlist in the military we don't need people like you in the military. It is people with attitudes like you that make it harder for everyone including the guys to do our jobs. you really don't need to be in the military. If you don't care if you die then you should just jump in front of a train do us all a favor

We really cant take a chance on you with that attitude because it would distract everyone from donig their jobs which could get a bunch of people killed.. If you really want to serve be a good citizen,and praise the ones doing the job and let them know you would if you could ,you may be surprized they find something for you.. Its not a disgrace to want to serve and not able but the military is a highly regemented organization and have your best intrest in mind..God did not put us here to die if we dont get our way but He wants us to live for Him everyday we will die soon enough.Living takes guts ,sucide takes a coward.So live the best you can,become a minister and you can help a lot of these guys comming home get back on track... I remember when i came home from Vietnam a guy i went to school with came to see me and he wanted to go into the military but he couldn't because he had only 1 ear he was born that way and he wanted my uniforms and i gave them to him and he was very proud of them it was as close he could get to being in the military,my brother got in with only 1 eye and when they discovered it after boot camp ,they gave him a medical--------so see you are not the only one left at home.. Just be a good citizen////

well, you can't join the Army because you have ADD. Why doesn't that make sense to you.
Attention Deficit Disorder is probably a bad thing to have when you need to PAY ATTENTION so people don't die.

I think you have an attitude problem first of all. However I do feel your pain not being able to get in. You can be well qualified and have one flaw that will disqualify you. I have past knee injuries that aren't letting me in the marines. You should get off that medicine and work on your attitude if this is something you really want.

Maybe the diagnoses is wrong. Maybe you are mentally handicap. If you are really wanting to join, maybe you should learn more about the military! Why don't you should go to Iraq on you own. This country could use one less sexist jack ***!
