A police report is usually available within a few days.

Regarding a SEARCH WARRANT, the detective or police officer conducting the search should provide you with a copy at the time of the search. If they have no warrant, you need not let them in. The 4th Amendment to the Constitution protects you there.

Normally your attorney will get these items upon demand. If you don't have one the law enforcement agency and the prosecutor love to play games with individuals... Check out your state document disclosure laws, file a demand according to those laws... and watch the fun. If they don't produice the documents in a in a timely manner you can haul them in front of a Judge to explain why.

You just gotta know your rights, and USE them...
