I have actually had mild flu like symptoms almost like a cold usually lasting about a day or two after getting the shot. It hasn't happened every time though. It's a lot better than getting the actual flu that can put you down hard for a few days. Get the shot, it's worth it!

the common side effects of the flu shot are: the flu.. go figure huh? its true all my kids had a flu right after they got the flu shot. but they were fine after it passed. they haven't had one since, so it does work. it just sucks that the side effect is what you are getting the shot for.. also fevers are common with it too

A common side effect is actually a "Milder Form Of the FLU".
Like the same for the Chicken Pox...when I got my son that shot...he GOT a mild case of Chicken Pox.
Thing is...the cases are MILDER than if we were NOT protected, with the shot. (or didnt HAVE the shot)
So yea...The answer is the "FLU" itself, but MILDER.

None. The flu shot does not have any side effects. It is a dead virus. No symptoms are possible.
