Im not into religion, but after studying religion, in particular 'Islam', here are my thoughts:

A) Daily ritual would be employed to saturate every part of a victims life. Ex: Contrast Christian once a week Suday Church ritual to Muslim five times a day ritual prayer plus Friday ritual Mosque attendance.

B) Literalism or fundamentalism (taking and applying scriptures literally in all circumstances) would be mainstream. Ex: Literalism in the Islamic commuity is mainstream, contrasted to Christianty where fundamentalist are the minority.

C) Victims are kept in an insular cult or society where voices from the outside are kept out and demonized. Ex: While Christian community labels many areas of our culture as "of the world", science (except except evolution) is no made part of the outworld, along with everything else. Contrast with Islamic culture that essentially demonizes everything non-muslim. Islamic countries have the lowest book translation rates of the world. One voice.

Yes! Another very important part of brainwashing would be starting early. This is proven by the fact that very few people choose a religion they are born into it. If you were raised from a baby to hate Jews. You would find it very difficult to brake the habit. Another key factor in brainwashing is how evil everything outside your doctrine is. It is against Gods will. CNN is Satans network if you wach it you go to hell. This type of argument is typical.

You are completly correct about rituals. Praying realese dopemine in the brain. Reapeating things over and over makes them more permanent. Hence, they seem more real.

If you look at Cristianty it has grow and became more accepting of science. Copernicus proved the church wrong the pope left him alone but the 'Great' Martin Luther said he is going against the word of god and is evil. Islam is still stuck in the dark ages. Some muslims even claim there is science in the Koran. This is ridiculous since basic math is not even correct in the Koran. I personally view islam as worse then communism.

Religion plays on some very powerfull human emotions. Espacially fear. Death and after life. Good and evil. Most of all its an attempt to explain the world around us. However it is so blinding that science, logic and fact take a back seat to those who wanna live in fantasy land.

Another point is that educated societies tend to be less religous.

PS: I think scientology makes a great study of brainwashing and a completly fake religion. click on the link below!

PS2: Example FEAR "while you sleep he constantly making attempts to destroy you" hmm i wonder who said that?

Often coercion is involved in brainwashing, e.g. the fear of hell and condemnation. Some Christian groups require more isolation and socialization within their group. Some the cults that have ended with suicides or show downs with the law would meet those definitions. I also believe some people are more attracted to these groups and look to be led.

Although some stories about Islam imply the participants have little rights or choices, I am not convinced worldwide that all members are brainwashed. For many, it is a lifestyle choice and when you make the choice--you practice the entire religion.

They start by preying off on the vulnerable.
Those guys on TV that preach a decent sermon and end up asking for money know that people want to believe in GOD, and they takefull advantage of that.

Lets not forget the Crusades. When Catholic leaders made the peasants believe that they would enter into Heaven shoudl they die on the battlefield, to support the Holy War against the muslims. JESUS taught turn the other cheek, yet the Catholic leaders dangled entry into Heaven to support their own means

But, they fill a void thats there. People going through personal travesties are prime victims. They are weak, and they want to believe, then need to believe. They hear all these beautiful words about a GOD they truly want to please, they see the fake show the money hungry arranges for them, and that appeals to what they believe is capable. Like a magician, a man comes in helping people who couldnt walk, stand, couldnt speak, speak. Some of those are fake, others are using their own belief in GOD to empower them.

But once you have that attention and you can link yourself as the messenger of The Word, spiritually weak people prove their Faith to GOD by giving and doing all that they have.

which initself is a beautiful thing. Like the woman who gives everything for the man who promises her the world. There is nothing wrong with her devotion, only how the man/or fake religious opportunist treats her/the people.

P.S. That dude Benny whatever, was investigated. All the people he claimed to heal, it was proven that it was their own adrehnaline at the time...for those with impairments that allowed them to overcome whatever it was they were limited to. He "healed" them on t.v., but upon investigation, all the people studied resorted back to their old limitations.

He held no arguement or explanation for that.

Since atheism is an absence in notion in a god (just like no longer gathering stamps in no longer a interest), there's not anything that we're believing in, or having installed our heads to think in. Religious ideals, whether or not islamic, christianity hinduism, and many others. have ideals, regulations, rights, laws that every believer has to comply with to be allowed into heaven or to look as holy earlier than their god. This is the change among your "religion" and atheism. Your faith "mind washes" individuals into believing that with out god they're not anything, sinful and going to h*ll. I have no idea of any "heavy rate" that any person is procuring being an atheist. It is liberating and fresh not to be stressed with meant guilt over the whole lot that you possibly can to in existence. I am an effective individual, an effective citizen and a exotic spouse, mom and pal. Morally I am so much bigger than a few xtians that whine and cry approximately no longer being in a position to are living as much as god's requisites whilst the next day to come breaking a biblical rule once more or hurting an extra person.

One must not think of Praying five times a day as a saturation of ones soul. You to need think of it (1) as a strengthing method against the influences of Shaitan. If you knew that you had an enemy that does not sleep, but while you sleep he constantly making attempts to destroy you. These attacks are made from behind you, infront of you, and both sides of you. This enemy is relentless. And you are only a man. Think of the Salaats that you make five times a day as replenshing or strengthing of your forcefield so that you can live your life in peace. (2) as a cleansing of the soul and heart of all the filth that gets in from gossiping, watching under dressed women and men, evil thoughts and incorrect thoughts and bad habits and so forth (3) as break from all the crazy and stressfull things that as humans that we have to deal with day in and day out. (4) As a relieving of electromagnetic build up in the body and brain. the different positioning of the body through out Salaat allows the body relieve the all negative ions and poisons of the body which intail relieves stress. Which we know tho be the number one linkage to all the major disease for Americans. There are so many more reasons for the benifit of Salaat five times a day. But I am sure you get the picture.

I appolgize for ignorance on Islam. Everything in Islam is not literal. You really need to sit down and study Islam with an open mind. Study Islam and not the people!

I don't know exactly what you mean by Islamic culture demonizes everything non-muslim. This what I know. Islam is a way of life. It covers every aspect of life. From how to clean yourself to how to pray. From your relationship with parents to Rulers to children to orphans. From social science to Chemical Sciences. There is not aspect of life that is not covered in Islam. The only thing that I know that is Islamic is to say the Creator of the Heavens and Earth begot a son, or a daughter, or is the sun or the moon, or we physical were made in Gods Image.

Here we go. Allah says that we are made in His image. Does he mean literally we look like Him NO! We simply have glimpses of His attributes. For instance. Allah is All Merciful; we sho mercy but we are not Allah merciful, but we do show mercy. Allah is the Creator of everything; we may create a airplane but we have not created the intitial material that makes the airplane, but we do create. Allah sees the blacks ant on a black rock on the darkest of knights; we can't even see our own hands on a dark knight but we do see.

You have so much to learn about the reality of your existence and just how powerful you can be against your true enemy which is Shaitan. I am not your enemy. No man is an enemy to another. We are Allah's Viscrent on Earth and we have been tricked by Shaitan to think that we are enemies of another. And when we realize as a race (human race) this then and only then will we have world peace.

Thoughts like these only breed discrimination among various religions. We better seek for the sublime teachings of God in the world religions for world unity and peace.
