nope there is no peace in this World. The peace you may obtain and retain is within yourself right up next to God. Peace is not a term about a quiet night and a cleavage. Peace is something you can only get from the comforter and He is in you or should be if you are playing with a full deck. Elsewise you are in a stupor most of the time just trying to find a little issue.

I think the world itself is pretty devoid of peace; however, I think it can exist internally in individuals. And that is what peace is to me - living my own life in a way that I like myself, doing what I can to make the world a better place, uplifting others, enjoying nature, counting my blessings, and living IN the world without becoming any sick part of it.

We have peace through God, Jesus, his Holy Spirit, joy, peace and love
Peace is knowing God, and his Son Jesus
Peace is knowing that all things work together for good that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose

It is the peace of God that passes all understanding. The peace that I have from Jesus. There may be chaos going on around me but there is still peace within.

World peace will not be achieved until the Lord rules. Inner peace is achievable - my favorite verse in the Bible:
Phil 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but through prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Peace is knowing that no matter what, God is in control.
