High maintenance is needy. My wife can be high maintenance at times, but she is also very giving.
A girl who needs you to do a lot for her and is picky requires a lot of effort. It may or may not be a big deal for you. It really depends on how you feel about her. If you truly love her, taking care of her will be easy. If you do not love her, taking care of her will be a chore.
My wife wants things done a certain way and sometimes she needs me to be there for her. One of my jobs is to kill spiders. She is afraid of glowing things, so I had to take down the glowing stars that the last owners of our house put up in what was their baby's room. None of the things are that difficult, but they do require being ready to do on call.
Take care,
Troy

I believe someone to be high maitenance to be someone who is all about them, needs and or wants expensive things all the time, nothing is good enough. A friend of mine was married to someone that everything she wanted had to have a price and I'm talking $$$$$$. Watch out for a high maintenance person you could end up in dept.(there very spoiled)

A high maintenance woman is someone who likes the finer things in life--i.e., she has expensive tastes. She doesn't like the ordinary everyday things when she can have the best that life has to offer. She is well-dressed, has salon styled hair, and is into designer clothing...I hope that helps you.
