friend i want more than a friend?

Okay , I Like This Guy , And Im In A Different State Right Now And Has Been For Like 2 Years I Am Going Back To My Hometown Tommorow And My Friends Want Me To Go To A Monthly Dance They Have A Our School , The Boy I Like knows I Like Him And Just Said Go With What Happens And I Wanna Go To The Dance But I Havent Seen Them in 2 to 3 Years And When I Left No One Really Liked Me I Wanna Ask Him To The Dance Im In 8th Grade And Hes A Little Older Than Me But Not Much I Really Like This Boy and I Really Have Deep Feelings For Him . Should I Ask Him . His Mom And My Dad Are Best Friends Also.

Well I Emailed Him And I Was Like Well I Think You should Come To The Dance With Me If you dont have to work As friends after he signed off should i have done that ?

Of course. Ask him to the dance and see what he says. Although you are quite young to be as deeply serious for someone as it seems you are, I do not see anything wrong with asking him. If he says yes hopefully you will both have a great time. If he says no, then maybe you will be able to have some closure with your feeling for him. I'm guessing you're either 13 or 14 so if this guy is 18 or older forget about it but if he's younger and you're parents are best friends with his parents than it's just better to stay as friends with the guy and I know you don't want to hear this but don't fall in love just yet. you would save yourself a lot of heartaches and pain if it doesn't work out between the two of you.
