Thanks for the feed back....I was not trying to stereotype all men. All of the answers are good, reasonable. I will let him go...I am a strong person but the last 6 months of a 2 year relationship have worn me out!!! Thanks again!

well coming from a man, im not saying he isnt lying, but usually when we lie its so we dont hurt the person we love, or because our spouse will kick our ***! we're made from a different cloth, some smooth some rough, but you have to take the good with the bad. sounds like he needs to grow up a little though.

Because addicts lie........just like a child. Once they get away with it the first few times, it gets easier and easier. Substance abuse isn't gender bias. Women lie just as much as the men. They all start out being good decent people, but once they surrender control to alcohol or drugs......they'd rather lie and destroy relationships than to admit they have a problem.

Ask yourself this, Why do women lie? To get attention. Sometimes they don't realize that the only attention they are getting is the wrong kind though, it takes a strong person with a lot of love to show them what they are doing is not helping them but hurting them!

Tell him the lies stop now! Then give him a week, if he hasn't changed then move on. If he won't stop lying to you then he doesn't deserve you.

He is going to have to get brought up short to see, for himself, the destructiveness of his lies

Do you hear yourself? Leave. If you were one of my friends, I would slap you. No respect for those who dont respect themselves.
