Careful - don't starve yourself, it's important to keep healthy.
Drink only water. If you drink coffee, less than 2 cups a day. And then more water. And only one glass of milk and one glass of juice. And more water. And by one glass, I mean 8 oz. Lots more water. Yes, keep the water coming. 2 liters a day should be a good start. Keep it simple; keep to water. And walking. If you hate exercise like I do, I walk. Or I do housework, like moving furniture or changing things or painting or sewing. Keep busy, typing on the computer - don't forget to get up every twenty minutes to stretch your legs!!!
Oh yeah, eat three times a day, protien for breakfast - eggs or meatballs ( I eat five meatballs or a boiled egg and some coldcuts, no bread, no condiments, and 4 oz orange juice and it fills me until lunch. I eat whatever I want for lunch, but only about a 7 - 10 oz meal in total. I eat whatever I want for dinner, again following the small portion rule. I even have a pudding or yorgurt pop for dessert.
The trick is in the water and in the moderate exercise - keep that body moving, even if it's only cleaning or sorting stuff or doing crafts.
With water, you will notice the difference in one week. Trust me.

Not only is it harder to conceive when you are overweight but it makes labor and delivery harder as well. Giving birth is like running a marathon but with much more pain involved. You need a certain level of physical fitness to deliver. Consequently obese women have a higher rate of c-section's than their thinner counterparts. You also run a greater risk of high blood pressure and gestational diabetes.

Fasting is not a great way to lose weight. You may lose at first buy you'll wreck havoc on your metabolism. Your body thinks you are in a starvation crisis when you fast so it tries to hang on to all the fat stored and releases it very slowly to sustain you in such a crisis. When you begin to eat again it takes a while for your body to register that and consequently you gain wain at a faster rate because your metabolism has slowed.

The truth is it's so easy to lose weight in our society today but it requires discipline. It requires making different choices. There are slim-fast bars and shakes for breakfast, lean-cuisine/weight watchers/healthy choice - those types of meals for lunch and dinner. I know people who have lost a LOT of weight rapidly by just eating these things along with fresh fruit and veggies.

Another thing you need to start doing is at least walking. There are walking trails in just about every park. Worst case you could walk around your neighborhood. Even some local schools have walking tracks.

Start taking a multi-vitamin as well. Make sure you get enough folic acid if you are planning to become pregnant in the near future. The doctors recommend you start taking that months before conceiving. It's vital in the development of the fetuses' brain.

The real choice here for you is what do you want more - the cheeseburger or a baby? Make the right HEALTHY choices and you'll be fit to have a baby in no time!

God bless you and give you strength in your efforts!

For me, eating is an addiction. I did it for lots of reasons, and for no reason, at lots of different times. When I wasn't eating I was thinking about eating, or how much I had eaten, or what diet to go on next, or how much and in what ways to exercize to get the weight off. I knew it was crazy, but I couldn't stop overeating for very long, if at all. I've tried so many diets, and most have worked for some period of time. I've tried many kinds of exercize on many different plans, and most worked for a time. But, for me, the addiction was still there, and until I dealt with that, nothing else could solve my problem.
Everyone has different solutions, and I hope you find one that is perfect for you. My solution is Overeaters Anonymous. I don't have to pay to join, or sign a contract, or buy anything, and I can stay as long as I want or leave if I don't like it. I've lost 40 pounds and kept them off without any diets or exercize plans for over six years. I know so many people who are in Overeaters Anonymous and have kept off hundreds of pounds for over 20 years, and are at a healthy body size. Everything I hear in Overeaters Anonymous is just a suggestion and people told me to take what worked for me and leave the rest. I don't have to do, believe, or try anything, but I found when I put aside my huge cynicism, it actually did work. Whatever you choose to do, I really hope you find something that works for you.

Tough situation. It depends on why you are overweight. If you have the condition known as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), it can be hard to conceive. However, the obesity tends to be secondary to the condition, as PCOS is also associated with insulin resistance and increased testosterone, which lead to reduced ovulation. Treatment of PCOS usually involves treatment with either Actos or Glucophage, both of which lower insulin resistance and make ovulation easier. If this doesn't work, there are other medications to induce ovulation, but they can lead to twins, triplets, etc.

As far as weight loss itself is concerned, I would recommend that rather than fasting, you simply keep track of everything you eat and drink, and start gradually reducing what you do eat and drink until you begin to lose weight. If you fast, the body quickly decides there is a famine going on, and will also tend to shut ovulation down, as the last thing the body needs is to be pregnant during a famine. You need to pin your physician down as to why you are overweight, as the treatment will be slightly different. Good luck.

I had the same problem. I tried my darnedest to lose weight. I went on a vegan diet. When I lost about 50 pounds, I got pregnant. Start by walking 30 minutes each day, even if it's just around your block. It's hard to get into excises, but walking is the easiest thing to do. Take your ipod with you, makes the time fly.

fating will make you fat, your body actually produce4s a hormone when it is starving to hold all the fat of everything you eat and pull it right into your cells, it stores fat at a high rate! but if you eat a moderate amount six times a day and exercise you body will lose weight and make a fat burning hormone ,for example lets say you eat one serving of chiclen and one bagel and a banana ,if you eat it one time in the day you will get fat if you eat this same amount of food but six times like a small piece of banana, chicken and bagel six times through out the day then you might lose weight but you have to make sure you take in enough calories for your height , some people need anywhere from 1500 to 2000 calories you should ask your doctor how many calories you need

You need to diet by eating a good healthy diet. Your body needs the right amount of vitamins and minerals to function properly. If you are not eating good you should supplement with a natural multiple vitamin. It is great to want to get in better shape, but you also need to do that correctly or you can cause harm to your body. Check out this site with great information and they even have books about healthy dieting.

because of the fact regrettably a rather good variety of medical doctors are greater interested in company than drugs, and so do no longer tell fat human beings they might desire to drop pounds ("i'm so indignant, i will never pass back!") or prescribe antibiotics for viral illnesses and pills frequently "on the grounds that's what their sufferers insist on".
