You should only be worried about burn in if you are playing games every day for an extended amount each day (4-6 hours or more). There also needs to be a image that doesn't change (think of the old school duck hunt where the bottom of the screen never changed). If you are playing different games or only playing for a few hours, you shouldn't have to worry about anything.

yes go ahead and play! like big screens they suffered from burn in if you left a imaged static on the set. most new plasmas have a game mode if yours don't going into video set up and lower the contrast and brightness levels down so they don't run as hot and change up they game every now and then just watch out for little logos in the corners that stay the same
