I actually agree with a lot of the literalist interpretation of the Bible that fundamentalists would support, but I'm politically liberal for the most part, with a few exceptions.

I support the legalization of Marijuana and prostitution, for instance. On the other hand, I'm not in favour of gay marriage.

I definately don't walk in lock-step with any one particular group.

It seems that at least a majority of Christians no longer think they have to be Neoconservatives. Perhaps there is some hope for liberal Christians, I wish the existing liberal Christians would speak out more against the follies of the conservatives.

It's not that you can't be Christian and be liberal, it's the fact that there are Christian liberals. Not at all saying they aren't Christians, but it kinda contradicts itself, because everything liberals stand for in sin based...so the question is is why would Christians wanna put their faith in God and put their faith in sin???? because Liberalism is a belief and a belief is a faith.

PEOPLE JUST WANT TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT TO AND SO THEY TEND TO GROUP EVERYONE TOGETHER, WHETHER THEY'RE LIBERAL OR NOT.
