Get your dr to give you prescriptions for medications that you can get over the counter. I am not sure what your expenses are allowed- but maybe some contacts, glasses or other eyewear. Get some ace bandages, and maybe some other health care items that you can use- like a humidifier or something.
Go to the er complaining of a body strain and have them prescribe you pain killers- level three.

Honestly, I would go a find an awesome good honest chiropractor. People do not realize that their spinal health is as important as anything else. Do you know that your entire central nervous system is incased in your spinal cord? You whole body runs off of this. FInd a chiropractor who does nutrition and other therapies, not just a quick adjustment and out the door kind of doc. Let me know if you need help to find one. You will be healthier for it, and if someone tells you, once you go you always have to go. Not true!

Assuming you have six weeks to spend it . . . definately refill all maintenance prescriptions. If anyone wears contact lenses, buy a year's worth if you can. All the lens solutions, storage & cleaning, all count - stockpile as much as you can.
Over the counter meds count, get the monistat for the predicted yeast infection, load up on Nyquil & Dayquil, tylenol, asperin, children's meds, band-aids, neosporin, other first-aid type stuff you KNOW you're going to use.

If you're just trying to use it before you lose it, get bloodwork done for each family member. Have them screen for any abnormalties or deficiancies. It could be money well spent if you catch something early. You could also get x-rays for one or two. If you have no problems you can still keep the films for future comparison in case something ever does happen.
