Job was a great man who just happened to be a "bet" between Satan and GOD. He passed his test with honors, but Jesus took on the sins of the world.Bless His holy name

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!
"Who more represents us JESUS or JOB? Jesus was prefect, he did nothing wrong; never married, ect...."
That's exactly why Jesus doesn't represent us BECAUSE He was perfect. We are not! We are to represent HIM!
JOB did NOT suffer more than JESUS. The Bible is clear that our righteousness is as filthy rags. We deserve every bad thing we get. It's only God's grace and mercy that saves us.
Jesus, on the other hand, suffered for ALL of our sins. Not just yours and mine. Not just for everyone on earth now or then. But for everyone EVER - past, present and furture! Can you IMAGINE being punished for the sins of ALL MANKIND?! And Jesus not only continued to praise God, He IS God!

You are kidding, right? Job was a human, who was tested by God, by allowing Satan to touch his possessions, family and health. Yet, when it was over, he was restored over what he had previously.
Jesus suffered the wrath of the Father, taking on the punishment for the sins of all who believe. Those few hours on the cross were more excruciating than any human has ever suffered on this planet. No mere man could have taken it. There have been Christians who have suffered as much or more so than Job, but no man has ever suffered as Christ did.

Actually, while Job suffered, Jesus suffered much worse. Not only was he beaten beyond recognition, the beard being torn from His face, whipped within an inch of His life, forced to carry the instrument of His death in this condition up a steep hill, nailed to the cross and left to hang and die possibly one of the worse deaths ever invented by man, He had to carry ALL the sins of the world - separating Him from His Father. The sins He carried and the separation from God during that period were far worse than the physical inflictions, which were awful!

Job is more representative of the human condition. It is important to note that God allowed and encouraged Satan to torment Job as a test. A very sadistic god.

Do you really believe that? Let's not forget that God blessed Job and returned all to him he lost abundantly for being obedient. You can't compare what Jesus went through to Job. Jesus was a real man too. He died on the cross, for people like us to have eternal life for the asking if we are obedient to him.

i do no longer think of it would have fulfilled the regulation. Jesus is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the international. and because He grew to become into our suited Sacrifice, it grew to become into mandatory that His Blood grew to become into drained thoroughly in accordance the guidelines for making options to God. that's what makes the relationship with the piercing of His heart with the soldier's lance so suitable. Even the final drops of His last blood have been drained alongside with the water around His heart. That way, all of us understand that His dying fulfilled the standards for a suited Sacrifice. some theologians have speculated that devil tried to kill Jesus many cases to evade His suited offering on the pass. They cite the Slaughter of the Innocents via Herod and the attempt of the people to stone Jesus for blasphemy as examples. If it particularly is actual, then Jesus might actually no longer have fulfilled the regulation if He had died in Mary's womb.

Well JOB wasnt hammered to a cross and left for death, so I thin jesus suffered more. As for your question, JOB does represent/resemble us more, but it is the fact that Jesus was so unlike any of us that makes him great.

Good question! We are to live our lives as Jesus but we cannot be perfect nor can we be God incarnate. But, Job was tested, challenged, humbled, sacrificed to the evil one and he sustained it all. So, IMHO, we are more represenative of Job who strove as a human to be like Christ.
