I believe that there is a global consensus that men hate women with short hair. Few have the bravery to say it, but it's just true!
The men I have spoken to all say that as long as it's below the ear, it can be any style that is most flattering to a girl, but shorter than that is bad.
I don't think colour is as big an issue.

long maximum actually even after 40 years old. some dopes reported whilst a woman turns 40 they like short hair. Who needs to look older? Now, in case you're petite and characteristic a great formed head possible pass with short yet i think of guys think of longer is eye-catching and as a woman i think of an identical. don't get me incorrect, i'm at as quickly as although.

I like long hair and short hair.
Women can be hot with any color of hair...But i prefer brunettes or women with black hair.
