Hey Val,
the only thing that has helped me is to get involved in somerhing soothing even if you don't want to do anything, the quickest thing to do is turn on the radio, it is almost instant that you get considerable relief from anger. go out side and and spend a little energy-instant relief , but you really need to make yourself do something. let me know how you are doing.\ My e-address is cjydawn@yahoo.com
good luck.

The best way to handle anger is to teach how children are raised to have anger. The way is to make the child angry and then reward them sexually. This has been used by warring tribes as well as the civilized people. Think when you are angry next that you could have been pleasured without all the madness.

Don't usually get too angry. Sometimes my kids push me over the limit and I'll yell at them to knock it off.
Usually have a drink, or two or six...just enough to put me to sleep because I know I'll feel better the next day.
I just try to focus my anger on something that deserves my attention, whether my house needs cleaning, go for a long drive, go for a run...
While anger is an emotion that all normal humans encounter, quite honestly what good does it do you?

First I try to figure out what's bugging me, then I look for a way to fix it. That said, I really can't remember the last time I was truly angry. Maybe when I was a teenager and I felt like no one really listened to me or understood me. That really pissed me off.

When I'm angry, I lock myself in the room. It helps if you wanna be alone from whatever started your angriness.

It depends...
If possible, I try to put some space between myself and the "source" of my anger, to give me some time to simmer down. If I still can't shake it, physical activity like a brisk walk helps me blow off steam in a productive way.

If I have more to lose than gain, I hold my tongue.
If I have nothing to lose I raise hell, raise my voice, intimidate, and try to verbally cut them off at the knees.
I guess it is what is called "make a scene"
I have been taken advantage of for so many years that now I cut lose if at all possible.

Seethe for a while and then get high until I'm not bothered anymore.
If I'm really angry, I'll hit things like walls or doors.

I hold an ice cube in each palm and squeeze them. Got that suggestion from a social worker. Does the trick for me.

I go for a run. Not fast, not long, just enough to get the happy feeling. About 30 minutes.
