ok noe like once i went goth and im black so most of mu family ignored me in that time of my life and like i was in my aunts car and like five of our cousins and i turned it on "avril" happy ending and they went crazy and called me whitey and white girl and not that theres something wrong with being white but it hurt my feelings

I have the same problem, but I'm white and my family thinks I'm latino. they always ask why i have to like everything hispanic.
Cause I speak spanish, date a colombian and work at a latino college.
Ignore you're family. Goth has nothing to do with skin color neither does choice of music. look at all the white kids that love rap. More than half of the great music on the radio, or atleast the stations i listen to are black. But my family would never think i saying i love black people. Ignore them. Sounds like they have their own issues. so what if you like a song that a white girl sings. doesn't mean you want to be white. Maybe they need to expand their likes outside of the black realm. right?
