All of it. The teachings of the Church, especially the dogma of the Church, must be accepted in its totality. Catholicism isn't a "cafeteria" type of religion, where you can choose what you want to believe, and what you don't want to believe. The teachings of the Church are pretty much an all or nothing proposition, although you may find many practicing Catholics that do not necessarily adhere to all the teachings of the Church (i.e., premarital sex, birth control, etc.).
Some of the fundamental beliefs are the Immaculate Conception, the virgin birth of Jesus, the Resurrection of Christ, and Assumption of Christ, and in the literal presence of Christ in the Eucharist, original sin, baptism and the Sacraments, including the necessity for Confession, and any of the doctrines of the Church which fall under the umbrella of Papal Infallibility, including the Ascension of the Blessed Virgin Mary and her role as a Co-Redemptrix with Christ, but, I could be wrong on that last one.

A sure way to get the correct answer would be to talk to the priest or nun in charge of the program, at a church near you.
Or web sites?
Of course getting real life experiences this is the way to go.
For me,I was raised Catholic, and so I know nothing, now. I worry about being excommunicated, sometimes, (in jest) because I will not be lock step with others, if the Pope calls us to task. I can't see the Pope herding cats anymore than others do. Humans are unpredictable, and some care for things that others don't. As in all religions, and ways of life. Two you can get an agreement - three or more is always a fight on any issue.
I'd suggest staying very quiet and you'll pass the classes fine; as you care for others more than many Catholics already and just a little less than the Saints - I can tell.
Peace.

You must agree with everything in the Apostles Creed.
I can't believe all the advice of people who do not know.
The Apostles Creed: I believe in God, The Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth, and in his only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, who suffered under Pontius Pilot, was crucified died and was buried. On the third day he rose again from the dead and he ascended into Heaven where he is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty and from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, The Holy Catholic Church, The Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the Resurrection of the Body, and life everlasting -- Amen.

I wonder this myself but if you think about it there are probably very few people who agree with EVERYTHING in any religion. I'm reading a book called "The Catholic Woman" and many of these woman are far more radical in beliefs than even I am yet they call themselves Catholics...
I personally feel gays should have the right to marry and aren't "disordered" as the Church says but supposedly they are trying to reach out to gays now, we'll see about that...
But really, examine your beliefs and if most of them are Catholic then go with that, you know? I was raised Methodist but now I really do believe most of Catholic teaching. They can't really tell you not to be Catholic because you disagree on an issue or two. Plenty of people do, believe me.

all of it, in portions.
Bit by bit.
If you have doubts, be patient. The answer is coming.
Sometimes so swiftly, you can't get the question off of your lips fast enough. Sometimes so slowly, you must understand that in order to bloom, a plant takes a few years.
For me, it feels like home. My dad was very traditional, and would kind of get pompous, but everything he ever told me was the truth. Sometimes it was hard. My mom was very spiritual, and always patient, like a saint. They are both very old now, and they kind of glow. I don't know, maybe it's my eyes.

Don't! Catholicism is a joke, even in the eyes of atheists, Catholics do not follow the bible! First off you do not baptize a baby for babies do not sin and when you do get baptized you must be fully submurged in water, not sprinkled. They also idolize mother Mary but the bible says no man gets to god except through Jesus. Also, the pope is a MAN (maybe the anti-christ) and a pastor is also a man, not known as father, your father is the lord. Put your worship where it matters. Follow the bible, not an organization. You might say this is opinion but there is much difference in opinion and fact.

You don't have to understand any of it. It's all delagated to the priest and during mass just follow what any old lady does that's sitting in the front pews; it's easy! Frankly the less You know about all the nonsense the more You'll enjoy being a Catholic.

Many I think just lie but if you join the club you really should go by the club rules which means you need to accept all ...this is but one reason why many born into this religion leave and never return...

You won't get grilled on your views of abortion, birth control, or gay priests. Instead, you will go to classes and eventually have to say, in essence, you believe in God, and in Jesus, you renounce satan, etc. No religion is perfect. I wouldn't bother bringing up what you dont agree with. No catholic I know hasnlt used a rubber.
