Although many Christians believe in the secret rapture of the church, it is not biblical. The Bible states that Jesus will reappear in the clouds of heaven with all the heavenly angels, a great shout and trumpet of God. Doesn't sound too secret or silent. Graves will be opened and the righteous dead will come forth in glorified bodies, The wicked will cry for the rocks and mountains to fall on them. Every island will be moved out of place, There will be earthquakes and thunder and lightning.

This is the glorious second coming of Christ that Christians have looked forward to for almost 2000 years. Those left behind will be destroyed as those who were left behind in the flood perished. The story of the church leaving in a secret rapture and an endtime antichrist power ruling the world is an attempt to deflect attention from the true antichrist power that has been on the earth for 1500 years, the Roman Catholic Church. All the reformers believed and taught it. Calvin, Tyndale, Knox, Jerome, Huss, Luther, Swingli, Sir Isaac Newton, Galileo and many other. Some even gave their lives to proclaim the truth about this apostate antichrist power.

When Jesus comes again, there will be no second chance for those left behind, no tribulation force to join. It will be too late to repent and seek eternal life. Those who have rejected God's call will be granted their choice, They will be destroyed along with the sin they cling to.

i think it became a nineteenth Century Irishman named John Nelson Darby. He became a tragic guy who led a fundamentalist team called the Plymouth Brethren and based a school of Christian theory called dispensationalism, which fits hand in hand the rapture. Darby is the guy who made those products universal with stupid human beings. Early Christians did no longer have self belief in it because of the fact they have been much less possibly take the Bible actually (maximum ealry Christians have been even Universalists and rejected hell). strangely, as time has progressed further and extra human beings take this rapture stuff because of the fact the reality. The human race would desire to be growing to be dumber.

The rapture of the Church is a very real event that is going to happen sooner then we all think, and a lot sooner then most are willing to believe.
It has been said since Jesus ascended into Heaven that we are in the last days. I am telling you we are no longer in the last days, but the last day, maybe even hours. The time for procrastination is over my friends. Chose you this day who you will serve, because there may be no tomorrow.

(Matthew 24:21-22) 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.

If the chosen ones were raptured out what difference would it make? He could take as long as he wanted.
There is no scripture that indicates a rapture the one they use says. 1 thessalonians 4:17 says the survivors will be caught away to heaven. Can't be a survivor if you never went through a tribulation.

Most Christians believe in the Second Coming. The Secret Rapture was something started by John Darby in 1827.

" The doctrine of a secret rapture was first conceived by John Nelson Darby of the Plymouth Brethren in 1827. Darby, known as the father of dispensationalism, invented the doctrine claiming there were not one, but two "second comings." This teaching was immediately challenged as unbiblical by other members of the Brethren. Samuel P. Tregelles, a noted biblical scholar, rejected Darby's new interpretation as the "height of speculative nonsense." So tenuous was Darby's rapture theory that he had lingering doubts about it as late as 1843, and possibly 1845. Another member of the Plymouth Brethren, B.W. Newton, disputed Darby's new doctrine claiming such a conclusion was only possible if one declared certain passages to be "renounced as not properly ours."

Oswald J Smith (I believe he was a Presbyterian Minister):
Now, after years of study and prayer, I am absolutely convinced that there will be no rapture before the Tribulation, but that the Church will undoubtedly be called upon to face the Antichrist, and that Christ will come at the close and not at the beginning of that awful period. I believed the other theory simply because I was taught it by W. E. Blackstone in his book "Jesus is Coming," the Scofield Reference Bible and Prophetic Conferences and Bible Schools; but when I began to search the Scriptures for myself I discovered that there is not a single verse in the Bible that upholds the pre-tribulation theory, but that the uniform teaching of the Word of God is of a post-tribulation Rapture: pre-millennial always. everywhere pre-millennial, but post-tribulation.

I think it's a desire for a great big "I told you so!" to all non-Christians and liberal Christians. A big, unmistakable finger waggling in all our faces.

I have relatives who believe this stuff with all their hearts, and the idea scared the crap out of me even when I was a little Christian girl. Some of them even said the last days might be here before I could go to the prom or get a job or get married! I'm so glad they were wrong!

The story of rapture is true. Jesus is the one who tells us of this. He also tells us that who so ever believes in him shall be with him in heaven. People that tell you there is no biblical basis for this are miss informed and are doing the same to you. I would like to point out that Jesus did not say " only Christians that believe in me will go to heaven" He said WHO SO EVER BELIEVE IN ME. The accounting of the one day coming of rapture can seem a little dramatic to the point some choose not to believe. That is where faith comes in.

How can you 'christians' say that there is no Bible evidence for a rapture.
1 Thess 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
50 Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed
John 14:1 "Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
Acts 1:10 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. 11 They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."
If you don't believe it, then wt are these verses in the Bible talking about.

I believe only the people that have the Holy spirit in them will be taken out of here.(anyone can get the spirit no matter who they are). All this can be read in the book of Revelation.this book is the scariest one in the Bible, you need a open mind and heart to read it.the Bible says those who read this book will be blessed.read 1 thessalonians4:16For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel,& with the trumpet of God,and the dead in christ will rise first.17 Then we who are alive& remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.And thus we shall always be with the Lord.....
