Mahummad was an old man when he consumated his marriage to a 9 year old little girl, seems a little young, doesn't it.
Then we have all these priests & preachers interfereing with little boys & girls.

WOW! It is astounding - 2000 years have passed and you have now finally identified the age of Mary. Whew, I feel so much more informed.
Duh - the average age of marriage of that time was around 14 -15. The life expectancy required it.
As for the current situation - tragic. The act cannot be justified - but neither can it be used to blame others. Sin - of varying degrees and nature - exist in all of us. This by the way, is why we have the religions we do - to help us deal with the guild and to train others in morality.

A trend to hurt children?
There are paedophiles among the "supposed religious" just like there are in the regular population.
Do some reading and you will find people married much younger than they do today.....because people died much younger than the do today.

On what authority do you say Mary was 13 years old? It definitely does not say her age in the Bible.
